Each week, Oklahoma Today staffers comb through their calendars to find a handful of great events happening across the state. Get out! See Oklahoma! And be sure to let us know what you find, either here or on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at @oklahomatoday.

Ham on Stage

Alexander Hamilton was many things: a founding father, a Federalist, an orphan, and a frequent trivia question answer. Oh, and apparently he's the subject of an award-winning musical with a soundtrack that went platinum nine times, making it the best-selling cast album of all time. See (and hear) for yourself at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center when Celebrity Attractions presents Hamilton. Don't throw away your shot to see the musical sensation that did the impossible: getting people excited about U.S. history. March 7-19. Tickets, $49-$199. celebrityattractions.com

Molly's Got It Rough

Ireland's most famous punk rockers are bringing their high-energy show to the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City as Flogging Molly takes the stage for one night only. And don't feel too bad for Molly, as the name comes from the bar Molly Malone's that was an early supporter of the band, so much so that they played there every Monday night, "flogging" it to death. Sing along to Drunken Lullabies, Devil's Dance Floor, and more on one of Oklahoma City's most famous stages. March 8. Tickets, $33-$159. diamondballroom.com

Bring Your Own Veggies

Head to the magical town of Disney and the South Grand Lake Recreation Area for three days of off-road thrills during the ATV extravaganza The Big Meat Run. Drivers will be pushing their vehicles to the limits on wet and rocky terrain around the Pensacola Dam and testing their endurance overcoming rocky barriers. Plus enjoy live music and the camaraderie of people who also really love driving where common sense tells them not to. March 9-12. Admission, free. midamericaoutdoors.com

Get a Clue

Board games do not always make great movies. Battleship was a real sinker and one assumes any film based on Twister would be for adults only. Still, one of the greats is coming to Guthrie's Pollard Theatre as the hilarious Clue: The Musical takes the stage. Try to keep track of the culprits in the death of Mr. Boddy as this game-turned-movie-turned-musical keeps audiences guessing and guffawing all night long. March 10-April 1. Tickets, $10-$35. thepollard.org/clue

Cryptid Creature Comforts

It is a gentle giant, a ferocious wild beast, or a just a myth that's too fun to stop believing? Find out at the Oklahoma Bigfoot Symposium at CC Camp in Stilwell. Hosted by Oklahoma Bigfooters, this event lets interested lay people learn from researchers how to do their own Bigfoot investigations. See what markers of the beast might look like, learn to cast tracks, and listen to speakers from across the country sharing their knowledge of the Henderson's one-time houseguest. And if you think adults have all the fun, there's even a kids' corner for youth activities. March 11-12. Tickets, $10 daily. okbigfootsymposium.com
