Jay will be as American as huckleberry pie July 3-4 during the fifty-ninth annual Huckleberry Festival. With tournaments for volleyball, cornhole, and horseshoes, sack races, a root beer chug, hot dog eating contest, and more, this festival is sure to be a good old-fashioned time.

Kick off the weekend in Medicine Park, Oklahoma’s original resort town, with Rockin’ the Park July 3-5. This free music festival showcases regional and local performers in celebration of the holiday weekend and the town’s birthday. Whether you prefer to dance in the street or kick back and relax, let freedom rock this holiday weekend.

The City of Moore will be showing off its patriotic pride at its annual Celebration in the Heartland July 4 at Buck Thomas Park. Attendees can enjoy numerous food trucks and a day of activities including eight different inflatables, helicopter rides, and live music, before finishing the night off watching one of the largest fireworks shows in the state.

Head to northwestern Oklahoma July 4 for the Home of the Brave Fest in Woodward. The all-day celebration includes free activities for all ages such as a fishing derby, chalk art contest, turtle races, and more before fireworks at 10 p.m. New to the festival this year also is live mural paintings by regional artists.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, McAlester’s Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration on July 4 is set to be the largest fireworks display in McAlester’s history. Before the sun sets however will be the McAlester Freedom Fest, a fun-filled day where guests to enjoy mega truck action, live music, food trucks, vendors, inflatables, and the Ms. Freedom Fest Competition.
