Saddle up for Ben Johnson Days, a four-day celebration of cowboy culture in historic Pawhuska. Held each year on Father’s Day weekend, the festival honors Academy Award-winning actor, world champion rodeo cowboy, and Osage County native Ben Johnson with a packed schedule of Western heritage events. Visitors can experience ranch rodeos, steer roping competitions, trade shows, live entertainment, and more while immersing themselves in the traditions of working cowboy life. Rodeo events are held at the Osage County Fairgrounds.

For more than three decades, Jazz in June has filled Norman’s evenings with the sounds of live music. Held at Andrews Park, this beloved summer tradition features free outdoor concerts showcasing jazz, blues, funk, soul, and other genres performed by acclaimed local, regional, and national artists. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a relaxed evening of music in the heart of downtown Norman. Headliners for this year’s event are the funk band Satin Soul on Friday, Mike Stern Band on Saturday, and Vincen Garcia on Sunday.

Celebrate a true Oklahoma original at the McLoud Blackberry Festival. What began in the early 1940s as a celebration of the local blackberry harvest has grown into a beloved community event drawing thousands of visitors each year. Come hungry, because blackberries take center stage in everything from fresh berries and jam to cobbler, fried pies, snow cones, drinks, and other sweet treats. Beyond the berry-themed fare, the festival features carnival rides, craft vendors, food trucks, a downtown parade, live entertainment, a baking contest, the legendary "Cobbler Gobbler" eating contest, and a fireworks show to cap off the festivities.

Honor history, culture, and community at the Tulsa Juneteenth Festival, one of Oklahoma’s largest celebrations commemorating the historic end of slavery in the United States. This multi-day festival brings people together through music, education, food, art, and fellowship while recognizing the significance of Juneteenth and the enduring contributions of black Americans. Festival-goers can enjoy live entertainment, cultural programming, local vendors, family activities, and opportunities to learn more about Tulsa’s rich history. Held in the historic Greenwood District, the celebration also highlights the legacy of Black Wall Street and the resilience of the community.

Take on one of Oklahoma’s most scenic cycling challenges at the Tour of the Wichitas, a ride through the rolling terrain and rugged beauty of the Wichita Mountains. Starting and finishing in Medicine Park, cyclists can choose from multiple routes ranging from a family-friendly ten-mile ride to a demanding hundred-mile century course, each offering stunning views of lakes, granite peaks, and open prairie along the way.
