Come hungry and stay all weekend for Whole Hawg Days in Eufaula. This longtime summer tradition serves up three days chock-full of action. There is a parade, a rodeo, a cook-off, arts and crafts, and its famous Whole Hawg Poker Run! Between all the activities, food, and the lake, this festival has a little something for everyone.

Get your lawn chairs and head to Bartlesville for some entertainment under the stars. The Sizzlin' Summer Series continues this week with a free showing of National Treasure. It might be the best atmosphere to watch Nicolas Cage set off on his quest! Bring your own movie theater snacks or grab dinner from local food trucks. Just make sure to be there early enough to claim the best spot on the lawn!

Christmas doesn’t have to wait til December, and all of Chickasha knows it. All month, this city has been celebrating Christmas in July, and now it’s time for the Cooldown Block Party. It’s your chance to party by the famous, 40-foot-tall Chickasha Leg Lamp! Expect water slides, inflatables, games, a foam party, and snow cones. We hear that Chickasha Cycle Santa is also planning to make an appearance. If that wasn’t enough, you can wind down with a movie before heading home.

Turns out you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to enjoy a good music festival. McAlester's Dancing Rabbit Music Festival is a free (yes, really!) outdoor music festival that features something a little different every time. If you make it out this week, you’re in for a treat with their headliner Switchfoot. You’ll also get to listen to Nashville’s EG Vines and Tulsa’s Brother Rabbit. Hop to it, because if you miss this festival, you’ll have to wait until November for the next one!

Play music producer for the day at Factory Obscura’s Record + Play event. This one-of-a-kind experience invites visitors to collaborate with local artists and experiment with different sounds, styles, and genres to create a custom mixtape of their own. No musical experience required! Tickets also include general admission to Factory Obscura’s immersive experience. That’s 6,000 square feet of interactive art to keep the creativity flowing!
