The Cow Caucus

Kick off the new year amid the sights and sounds of livestock lore at the Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma City. This premier cattle show brings breeders, producers, and enthusiasts from across the world to the OKC Fairgrounds for more than a week of elite livestock competition, genetics showcases, trade exhibits, and sales. Expect daily breed shows, pen and performance rings filled with top cattle, and plenty of industry energy as folks reconnect and do business in the heart of cattle country. Whether you’re in the beef biz or just curious about the culture, there’s a lot to see.

Farm Frenzy

Shake off the winter chill and wander into KNID Agrifest at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center in Enid for northwest Oklahoma’s biggest indoor farm show. This two-day event brings together farmers, ranchers, and curious visitors alike to explore more than 250 vendor booths showcasing the latest in agricultural tools, tech, and unique craft goods while offering hands-on demonstrations and informative seminars. It’s a great way to learn about the heart of Oklahoma’s agrarian communities and pick up something special along the way. Free parking and admission make it easy to make a day of it.

Ice Is Nice

Ready to let it go . . . to Tulsa? The Tulsa Performing Arts Center brings the Broadway-style musical Frozen to life on its Williams Theatre stage, complete with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and all your favorite tunes (yes, including that one you belt out in the car with or without kids present). Expect dazzling sets, snowy spectacle, and enough theatrics to make even Hans rethink his villain résumé. Tip The Scales

If scales, slithers and slimy friends are your idea of educational fun, don’t miss the HERPS Oklahoma Exotic Reptile & Pet Show at the Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center in Shawnee. For two days, hundreds of vendors will fill the halls with thousands of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, small mammals, feeders, supplies and more—perfect for curious kids, aspiring herpetologists, or anyone who’s ever wondered what it’s like to see a snake without stepping in the grass. There’s also a big hands-on area and concessions to keep you going as you browse.Tickets can be purchased at the door.

That’s The Spirit

If you’re curious about crystals, tarot, or just want to see what your aura looks like in full color, the OKC Spirit Fair at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City might be your vibe. This welcoming, all-ages event invites you to shop for sage, stones, incense, jewelry and other spiritual tools, or take part in readings, energy healing and aura photos. Whether you’re a devoted mystic or just spirit-shopping for fun, it’s a chance to explore alternative spirituality in a friendly, laid-back setting. Again, tickets sold at the door.
