We love Ada. (We love every part of Oklahoma, to be fair. It’s kind of our job.) But Ada’s a city with a rich vein of greatness running through its history. There are more than a few sports stars—Major League Baseball all-star pitcher Harry Brecheen, mixed martial artist Johny Hendricks, and NFL tight end Jeremy Shockey are just a few—who came from this south-central Oklahoma hub and quite a few politicians, as well. But we’d bet the most notable Ada native is the one with seven Grammy nominations to his name. You might see him guiding young musicians (and sometimes performing) alongside his current flame on TV, or you could recognize his voice in animated films The Angry Birds Movie and UglyDolls.

Who is this notable Ada native?
