Designated this week back in 1906, Oklahoma's Platt National Park was the smallest in the nation. One of the main draws was a mineral-rich spring that was said to soothe the soul and heal the body. Tourists from all over came to the area, but the Chickasaw and Choctaw tribes were wary that it might be purchased and exploited as a private spa, so they made a deal with the federal government to protect it by designating it a national park. In 1976, Platt lost its designation, was combined with a nearby reservoir, and renamed.

What is the name of the area now containing what was Platt National Park?
