Go Wild (for Art)

Virtual events are all the rage, so why not a virtual art gallery? Enjoy Tulsa’s Wild at Art, a temporary online gallery displaying a range of mediums like watercolor paintings, mosaics, wood-burning works, pine needle baskets, and more. Exhibited works will be available for purchase, and there will also be a silent auction for items like spin class passes and local museum tickets. Join in on the fun and help out a cause at the same time, as event proceeds are donated to helping injured and orphaned wildlife. December 1-13. Admission, Free. (918) 671-3338 or wildatarttulsa.com.

Illuminated Tish

Bask in the splendor of festive lights and heavenly voices of local choirs during downtown Tishomingo's Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. And, so we're clear, they're putting lights on the tree, not lighting the tree on fire. Big difference. Shops will be open late with special deals and there's free coffee and hot chocolate for visitors, so head to the corner of Courthouse and Main Street to soak up all the holiday cheer. December 9. Admission, Free. (580) 371-2175 or TravelOK.com.

Historical Hop

Get to hopping at Edmond’s Old-Fashioned Holiday Hop at Edmond Historical Society and Museum. Hop from station to station across the museum with free holiday crafts, activities, cocoa, and socially distanced pictures with Santa. The museum’s Back to the 1950s exhibit will be on display, and gift shop purchases will be 10 percent off during the event. Masks are required to attend. December 12. Admission, Free. (405) 340-0078 or edmondhistory.org.
