So here's a deep-dive Oklahoma connection for you: though they'd met years earlier, it's said that Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, truly fell in love when they saw Oklahoma! on its opening night in the West End of London in 1947. In fact, a song from the show came to symbolize their romance.
