Weekly Events Calendar: October 26-November 1, 2026

4 minutes

Each week, Oklahoma Today staffers comb through their calendars to find a handful of great events happening across the state. Get out! See Oklahoma! And be sure to let us know what you find, either here or on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at @oklahomatoday.

Everybody Scream

As the terrifying Oogie Boogie might say, “Well, well, well. What have we here?” What we have, Mr. Boogie, is a special screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas presented by the McKnight Center for Performing Arts in Stillwater. The 1993 Tim Burton stop-motion classic is the perfect way to launch into the holiday end of the calendar. All tickets include a complimentary bag of popcorn.

October 28. Tickets, $5.

All Things Bright and Bootiful

For those who like their spooky season with splashes of color, Halloween with Factory Obscura in Oklahoma City has thrills that are more of the chill variety. Between a parade, costume contests, and Tunes from the Crypt, it's the perfect event for gals and ghouls of all ages who want to celebrate life as well as death.

October 31. Admission, free.

Spooks in the Spires

There are plenty of frights to be found around Oklahoma in October, but few of them are as fancy as those at the Haunted Castle Halloween Festival. For twenty years, the Castle of Muskogee has sent tingles down visitors' spines with sixty-two acres of creepy attractions, including the Enchanted Train, Haunted Hayride, Torture Chamber & Catacombs, and the Monster Blaster.

Through October 31. General admission, $5.

Farm and Away

Autumn is the perfect time to celebrate all things agricultural, and the one of the most delightful destinations to do that is Kenny Farms in Woodward. Here, the whole family can enjoy nearly three dozen opportunities for fall fun, like the corn pit, wagon rides, and a sorghum maze on the weekends. Folks also can meet the menagerie at the petting zoo, but don't expect them to be good at pumpkin bowling (they're all hooves).

Through November 1. Admission, $12 on weekdays and $18 on weekends.

Hexes and Oh Nos

Hex House is based on one of the biggest true crime stories ever to rock the city of Tulsa. The modern-day, haunted attraction ups the scare-factor though, with three locations filled with unearthly delights. It's not for nothing HauntWorld.com ranked HexHouse as one of the top fifteen haunted houses in the country.

Through November 7. Tickets start at $35.
