Each week, Oklahoma Today staffers comb through their calendars to find a handful of great events happening across the state. Get out! See Oklahoma! And be sure to let us know what you find, either here or on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at @oklahomatoday.

Top Dogs

We've probably all seen dog shows on TV, but now's your chance to catch one in person. The Claremore Kennel Club Dog Show at Claremore Expo Hall is four days of very good dogs and their handlers showing off perfectly groomed coats and impressive obedience. There's over 1,000 breeds of pups competing for the top spot in their individual categories, along with the coveted title of Best in Show. You can even bring something home for your very own furry pal from one of the many vendors specializing in pet supplies.
March 26-29. Admission, free.

Hunt in the Dark

Easter came early and with a literal glow up. Yukon's annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt is a one-of-a-kind Easter experience for the kids. This nighttime egg hunt will have your kids searching City Park's football field for glowing eggs, hidden treasures, and fun surprises. Make sure your kiddo grabs a basket, brings a flashlight, and is ready for a fast-paced egg hunt under the stars. Pro tip: a headlamp might just give your kid a bit of an edge.

Finders Keepers

The Tulsa Flea Market wants to change your mind about what a flea market can be. If you've never been, expect 50,000 square feet of antiques, records, crafts, jewelry, books, furniture, and so much more, held inside the Tulsa Expo Center. Vendors come from all across Oklahoma and even surrounding states. With all that stuff, there's bound to be something to catch your eye. Like it says on their website: No admission. No hype. Just good stuff for good people.

Family Fun Hub

MetroFamily's Kids Fest is a one-stop shop for family fun and resources. Held at Rose State College, there's bounce houses, games, a petting zoo, and plenty of hands-on activities to keep the kids entertained. Parents can browse through booths with various local businesses and organizations that help make family life a little easier. You can even sign your kids up for summer camps and learn about after-school programs. You'll even get to enjoy a live performance from Jabee, an Emmy Award-winning local artist who's also serving as the emcee for the day. Now, that's a whole lot of bang for your buck!
March 28 Admission, $8 per child at the door or $5 per child with pre-registration.

Tulip Mania

The Myriad Botanical Garden's annual Tulip Festival is back and bigger than ever. The popular festival has blossomed into a weeklong celebration that stretches across two full weekends. There's various tulip exhibits and installations all week long, with extra fun on Saturdays and Sundays: an expansive vendor market, live music performances, and plenty of local food trucks. Make sure to check out the full schedule for the additional midweek events. Spring is in full effect, so you might as well stop by and smell the tulips.
March 28 - April 5. Admission, free.
