Favorite Place Friday
An Oklahoman of the Year’s dream comes true at her new Osage County home.
This week’s Favorite Place Friday post comes from 2011 Oklahoman of the Year Mary Beth Babcock, owner of Dwelling Spaces in Tulsa. Mary Beth recently purchased a new home on an acreage in Osage County only eight minutes from her Blue Dome District store.
“It’s a place to relax, recharge, and be creative,” says Mary Beth. “It’s a blank slate in nature—peace and quiet. Serene. Magical. It’s a dream come true for me.”
Introducing the newest edition to OklahomaToday.com: Favorite Place Friday! Every Friday, we’re going to let one reader show us his or her favorite place in the state, whether it’s a beautiful outdoor vista, a state park hiking trail, a favorite meal, roadside attraction, festival, date night spot, or off-the-beaten-path destination. And each person we feature will receive a prize: an Okie sticker, a free year’s subscription to the magazine, or maybe even a big surprise.
