Nearly twenty-five years ago, Lisa Breckenridge started her career with Oklahoma Today as a clerk typist. At that time, one of her duties was to type editorial manuscripts and submissions--which generally were submitted by mail or fax in an era before email--into a word processing program. Eventually, she began assisting the magazine’s circulation director and later became its budget officer. 

Today, as business manager, Lisa’s work is critical to the magazine’s operations. She prepares and maintains Oklahoma Today’s fiscal-year budget, sets up vendor purchase orders, enters subscriptions into the magazine’s circulation system, pays the magazine’s bills, and provides customer support, among a myriad of other duties. 

Lisa, a lifelong animal lover, has been married for thirty-three years and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, reading, and taking weekend trips with her family.
