A native Oklahoman, Elizabeth grew up in Oklahoma City. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. During her senior year, she served as the advertising director for the school newspaper, The Vista. 

In summer 2006, Elizabeth joined Oklahoma Today as the magazine’s first advertising sales intern and was named an advertising account executive for Oklahoma Today in August 2006. She is the highest-grossing sales rep in the magazine’s history and set an all-time Oklahoma Today sales record for a single issue in 2008. Her sales territory includes the greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. 

Elizabeth enjoys theater, art, music, and cooking. She and her husband, an elementary school teacher, spend their weekends watching old movies and gardening.
