Born in Oregon before her family relocated to Luther when she was a child, Angela Blalock has worked at Oklahoma Today since August 2010. She is a self-described people person whose constant smile and friendly demeanor have made her a favorite among subscribers and the magazine’s staff. 

Angela stays busy raising and keeping her four children (ages two, four, six, and eight) entertained. She enjoys spending time with them and her extended family—most of whom live nearby—gardening, reading, and being creative. One of her favorite things about life in Oklahoma is the weather, because, as favorite son Will Rogers famously said, if you don’t like the weather in Oklahoma, just wait a minute and it’ll change.
