presented for overall excellence by Folio:, the magazine industry's most
important trade publication. Oklahoma Today's entry, the Air & Space
issue, took a comprehensive look at Oklahoma's rich aviation history. The
special issue, which was published in July of 1998, featured a cover image of
famed Oklahoma aviator Wiley Post. the "photomosaic" image of Post was
created by Rob Silvers, whose internationally acclaimed work includes covers for
Wired, Newsweek, and Life, as well as the promotional
poster for The Truman Show.
